Want to become a part of the No To Big Tech movement? We need all the help we can get - register your interest!

For the DeGoogle and No To Big Tech movement to be a success it needs your help.

We need help with lots of things - we have added an up to date "Help Required" section below, listing our current pressing needs.

THESE ARE THE TASKS WE CURRENTLY NEED HELP WITH:

  1.  Hosting webinars across different time zones (non-CET and GMT) and in different languages (not just English!) - but more English speakers are also welcome to host webinars.
  2.  Helping to translate materials (website content, webinar slides).
  3.  Documenting complementary movements around the world, encouraging people to check them out (and grouping them by location).
  4.  Writing basic De-Google guides for the website (eg how to move from Gmail to Proton Mail).
  5.  Welcoming volunteers and responding to volunteer email requests.
  6.  Researching local opportunities to talk about Big Tech and the problem (raising awareness) and creating a database of such opportunities.
  7.  Researching and writing a blog post - recommended books on the problems with Big Tech
  8.  Video editor to trim recorded 30 minute webinars and add an intro slide and "call to action" slide at the end.

Task list last updated on 04/03/2026

Of course - if you have another skill or idea to present to the movement, please tell us about it!

Whatever your experience or background, I'm sure we can find a way to include you to be a part of this movement!

Important note - WE DON'T EXPECT PEOPLE TO BE ABLE TO VOLUNTEER 100+ HOURS PER WEEK!

Every little helps - you can drop in and drop out as and when you like (after all, we've probably all got other things to be doing too)...

Just fill in the form below to register your interest and we'll come back to you with the next steps.

This is a form for people to register their interest in supporting with the DeGoogle movement.Note - if you want to help by hosting webinars, we will discuss this with you and can provide some basic training/guidance on what a good workshop should contain. All you need to do is to show people how to shift from a specific Google product to a recommended ethical alternative, eg how to migrate from Gmail to Protonmail.
